Nurturing its community is an important aspect of our values at Emperor’s College. While the master’s and doctoral programs are demanding courses of study, the caring and gentle spirit of Oriental medicine is always palpable on campus. Many lifelong friendships begin at Emperor’s College, which develop into business partnerships, colleagues and professional referrals. Staff members maintain an open-door policy to ensure that students receive a top quality and personally satisfying education and faculty are always available by phone and email for answering students’ questions and concerns.

Opportunities abound for students to get more involved at Emperor’s College. From Student Council, to the annual College Retreat to work-study employment, students can always find a way to make their mark and let their voice be heard.

Emperors’ reputation for exceptional education and superior alumni who continue to shape the future of acupuncture and Oriental medicine is due to:

Distinguished Faculty who were educated at some of the best and most prestigious TOM colleges in the world and are considered leaders in their fields. Our instructors are role models, dedicated to training the next generation of practitioners who will continue to advance the field of Oriental medicine in the United States.

The required curriculum, together with a broad range of elective classes, positions graduates to be the most capable practitioners and leaders in the field.

Extensive Clinical Program providing real-life training in a variety of medical settings. On campus, student interns provide over 15,000 treatments per year for a wide range of conditions, treating a diverse patient population. Through partnerships with UCLA Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center, the Simms/Mann Health & Wellness Center at Venice Family Clinic and the Roy & Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center advanced-level interns work in western medical settings which provide unmatched hands-on experience that prepare students for success in the profession.
